Really want to help? Find images for the backgrounds. Just make sure they're liberally licensed. (GFDL, Creative Commons [not non-commercial or no-dirivs], Public Domain) Wikimedia Commons is one great place, as is Flickr.

I would like to help develop this game. I started a project similar to this and it never got much past the "pre-alpha" stage. I kept on having difficulties with the setting for the game it seems as though you have found a way around this though.
